I was intending to buy an R3M-R when I signed up here a short while ago.

I travelled 200 miles to see one but was disappointed with its cosmetic state, even though it drove brilliantly.

To get over my disappointment I sought solace in the car buying section on Ebay ( as you do ).

I ended up buying another vehicle......


....but it's an Isuzu Bighorn Trooper 3.1 SWB Irmscher edition !!!!!

Does this make me persona non grata?
Have I wasted a tenner?
This seems like a great forum....my truck is still Japanese...and I'd like to hang around.

Tbf mate, you have bought a proper 4x4 compared to the r3mr :thumb2

pucker motor the trroper and the 3.1 is bomb proof

loads of easy mods for them, lsd rear, just grab some springs and wind up the fronts

Having owned and towed with 240's, 480's, 850 and V70, I know you are talking rubbish. They all get stuck on a sunny day, if the grass has dew on it. And as for the new heaps of junk that they have the nerve to put a Volvo badge on, they are just fords, made from paint with the rust sprayed on the inside to thicken it up.
