Apparently you only get charged one way - so which way is free?

coming out of Wales is free :)

So you're coming from Midlands area, get on to A40 past Monmouth, Abergavenny etc...then you can scoot back M4 if you want but I'd think its a bit out of your way surely?

I'm coming from Bridgenorth in Shropshire, the M4/M5 route is a bit longer but allegedly a bit quicker :nenau I though about coming back that way for a change of scenery :thumb2

Can't remember exactly where yow (sic) are Planky but AA route from Brum to where you're going takes you West of the river crossing anyway mate? But if you do cross its £5.40 for Terranos and £10.80 for vans and twincabs (which is why I never bothered getting one £5.40 for a T2 with a fully loaded twin axle trailer and a mere £10.80 for a twin cab with a box of matches in the back:eek:.)

Its probably too far out but if you're passing Llandovery I can put the kettle on....PM me and I'll give you a postcode and landline:thumb2

PM on it's way, you haven't got any cheap SVO up there have you :augie

Actually I've got a few litres of sunflower in the bottom of the IBC I haven't touched since last year LOL

The AA fastest route from Bridgnorth takes you off the M5 before Tewkesbury and TBH its a good route rest of the way...M50 and a lot of dual carriageway, then M4, easy, especially on a Sunday......just watch out for the camera vans!

Depending on timing though I'd come or go the cross country route, as its a great part of Wales.....

I think I'll do cross country both ways, your right it is a lovely country. My route goes pretty close, drain your IBC :augie

they dont charge on way out,coz they know youll be skint!

oh so on way in, its to make sure your not skint, but soon will be?

hey last summer was very impressed at how cheap long stay parking was in the major?
resorts of w.wales.

funny, thinking . i dont pay 90% of the time. and if i do its because i parked in a place with a barrier on exit

they charge to get into wales , to keep the rif raf out.

its expensive, but luxuries usually are . but with the resident discount card , we only pay 50% so its not too bad.

small price to pay , for a nice place to live
