Found this on fleabay for what seems to be a damn good price. Sure you already know about it, but maybe some other newbies like myself may find it helpful :thumb2

That's not bad, although I always buy genuine oil filters for my cars, I just changed the Terrano's and it cost me £11 form the main dealers.

Did I tell you how easy it is to change the 3.0 oil filter, can't remember if I did or not :augie:augie

It does claim they are of the same quality as OEM for what that is worth, if so they are a very good price.
In case you don't know, the 3L oil filter will drain itself if unscrewed about 4 turns (look for the arrow marks & line up on top) & given 2-3 mins. Saves a lot of mess as I discovered the hard way LOL.
Just need a method to stop the drain hole oil shooting everywhere, my driveway is still black from 15 months ago! I now lay a sheet of plastic down & hope for the best.

That's 50p cheaper than my local suppliers! Pity my nearest Nissan dealer is 12 miles away but will call in at next opportunity (next oil change due Feb '14 so plenty of time).

It may say it's the same quality..... I'll stick with the genuine mate:thumbs

When I change my oil, I let the sump drain 1st, then undue the filter housing a couple of turns, this allows the filter to empty into a catch pan that sits under it , there's a pipe that drains under the engine, I never drop a bit on my drive now
