Decided to sell my Maverick as cant afford to get welding on sills done and am not using it since getting a van, so is sitting for weeks at a time with no use!! It has no MOT!! It is a P regd 2.7tdi in grey (on logbook) but looks blue to me!! Has 4 good tyres, 2 spare wheels, Kenlowe Hotstart, new thermostat, newish water pump, new front arb links, Towbar, Grey leather interior although the 6th and 7th seat are maverick style pattern! Chrome bull bar with working spots, Clifford alarm system, Wings are pretty good to be honest, but must stress I am only going by visual inspection as haven't had bumper off or anything! Everything works as it should, needs 2 outer cv gaitors also. Mileage is 121,989. Has a 3 month old starter on it with 9 months warranty still left, and a new battery with 21 months warranty still left! Starts first time every time and runs nicely. Has external grab handles on rear corners for ease of getting into back of vehicle. Note stereo not included as is new aswell. For someone who can weld will probably be an easy fix and a good car again. Far too good to scrap and I wont be breaking as just don't have the necessary room, only a parking bay outside house :lol
If you are interested I am looking to get £600 for her.

You still interested in selling me the Kenlowe on it own mate?

Sad to see you selling it :(

Interesting handles by the back door, are these Nissan or other supplier?

Bet regards,

Rustic

what a shame mate but I know how you feel!

I have to say, id be interested myself, but your car I think, has similar issues to what mine had - the welding! Also, has yours got aircon and does it actually work?

Yes Clivvy the rust has got the sills! It does have aircon but untested, light comes on when pressed but chap I bought it off said it needed re-gassing and I didn't bother, it's part yours anyway as it has your clutch pedal on it..lol ! Rustic, no idea if they are Ford or Nissan handles on rear but haven't seen them anywhere else, but look nice!
Jim E, Don't really want to start stripping external bits off but may do if push come to shove, just cant be bothered with all the post and packing etc.
Rich..

if you can get it to me before i move to wales i'll weld it up for you :thumbs

just had a look in my optional extras catalog and the rear grab handles are a dealer fitted option :)

Well the old girl has gone!! Just got back from taking her to the local scrappy and got £350!! Bit gutted but after inspecting it on ramps over weekend, not only were the sills knackered, the front cross member, and seat belt points were pretty shot aswell!
Did take off the Kenlowe hotstart, Bull bar with spots still attached, and rear load cover!
I think Banshee is having the Kenlowe, so any offers on the load cover and bars? Photos of bar are above and has the 2 little bumper side bars aswell, although had to wrestle them off so brackets on both need straightening, might be able to do it if I can use next doors vice!!
Gutted don't describe how I'm feeling right now, but there was no real other options, as financially things just didn't stack up!!
Big thanks to R1cho who offered to weld sills up for me, but think this was the best thing to do!!
Anyways that's all for now, don't think we are having another truck right now but never know in the future!!
Cheers Rich..
