The scoop lights project is underway
The lights were obtained through ace parts £9.99 plus postage
will wire up soon and will take picc and try to get it on here :?

lights are at the back of the scoop so as not to restrict flow
will wire so when side lights are on i can switch on or off.

Can you send me a photo please, If you want i can add it for you if that makes it more easy.

Mav.

When i get home i will finish job and take picc
 (Might not be tonight though)
I'll let you know if i have trouble getting photo on.

Thanks Mav
Regards

Brian.

Are these lights ones that are being fitted in the "under bumper" tear shaped ducts?.

If they are then looking forward to the photos.

Mav.

No actually in the intercooler scoop :!:

Should look a bit different when done !

Led's

Would like some amber ones fitted to the steps but not underneath.

Do the lights scan from side to side like Knight Rider? I will have some if they do

Just bought a "Tazmanian Devel 'Back Off'" Spare wheel cover so the Bling mods are underway!!!!

If it's a semi hard cover you could fit red LED's for eye's for the evil look

Pity it's only vinyl, but you have got me thinking. Maybe the lights could come on with my brakes, what do you think?

Not even on blue neons ?

toyed with both of these thou as an off roader dont reckon neons would last long but believe can get led ropes which could be fastened up and behind steps/sills or chassis. dont see why cant have fun and play dirty.

TBH I think LEDs/neons would be ok on a off roader as long as they are fitted up by the floor pan & not on the rails of the chassis which also make the legal as you can't see the tubes but just the glow on the ground. I was reading in TOR mag that someone had fitted lights under their zook so when laning at night he could see better under his truck crossing rocks ect

Neons would be ok for Mav as he dont do much of the off roading, he's more low ride cruiser so neons would make him look like his terrano was floating on a blue glow at night. :p 8)

function from form then.

following with bonus brake light effects, would underbody red lighting
be legit to rear tapped into brake circuit, perhaps low level brake light
to compliment high level??

Night laning

Night laning with a bunch of truks fitted with neons underneath would be fun tho
Just think of the UFO siting reports too  -rotfl-

No not scan lights but 2 rows of white lights (using as position marker officer)

did not have time last night but will have to make time soon
