Since servicing my t2 its started to run worse as each day passes thinking maf had gone south set about a process of elimination eventually discovered the new air filter must be faulty.
It started last week when the wife rung me to tell me the truck was starting to hold back and (her words not mine  )was ucking whilst accelerating in 3rd.
Thinking typical now the maf is sucking on clean un bagged air its now decided to throw the towel in,but after spending a few hours this morning trying to sort it of which nothing worked i decided to pull the air filter out and take it up the road and to my surprise purfect run it for a couple of miles like this then put the filter back within a few hundred yards were back to ucking flat spots etc,ive now put the original filter in and its spot on,never in 25 yrs have i ever come across this prob.
Taking the filter back on monday c what they say
2nd thing sorted today was goin ace till the ram on me trolley jack smashed through its mounting gona have to invest in one thats upto the job i think 8O

I had the same problem recently with a air filter and turned out the wrong one for the vehicle.
Take it back and get them to check the number of the filter with the make and model of your vehicle against the manufactures of the air filters manual.
