My Terra2 has developed a loud and annoying rattling/vibration noise, on investigating it is a loose running board.
Where the actual plate bolts to the tubular frame is the problem.
The bolts sit in a slide/bracket which the bolts to the frame, over time the bolts have pulled through/worked through this slide/bracket causing the running board plate to be loose and hence the orrible noise.
Because the slide/ bracket no longer holds a bolt to secure the plate I,m a bit flummoxed as to how I can effect a repair. Has anybody any experience with this how know of a fix?
Cheers

You need some of those rope ladders they drop out of helicopters:D
That way the little zippys can get in but you can still drive over big things:augie

Hi had the same problem.I drilled through from underside and then counter sunk from above to suit 6mm s/s countersunk cap head screws. Fitted a nut and washer on under side and haypresto a neat and tidy repair. It almost looks as if they came like this.

Thanks Mont,
Why didnt I work that one out myself. The old saying of "a second pair of eyes" rings true.
