rubbing

Just got the mav going after standing for a few weeks with flat battery and thought Id have a quick spin .But as I pull off the drive the front o/s tyre is rubbing big time on the inner arch by the sill. Not done this before so must have damaged something last time out :-(

Have a look at the bush on ya track control arm ?

I know I had some play on the idlers on the mot . Done trackrods last year but it has been abused since then . To be honest theres so much mud under there I cant see anything at the moment let alone check them :lol

Does it also happen in reverse? If not it could be your compression rod bush or chassis at that point ?
Can happen after a nasty wheel clout and sends the shock back through comp rod into bush and chassis. The chassis also rots around there too :doh

Does it both ways . Will have to wait till I jet it off so I can see whats what .

Had a quick look under the front this morning and the steering is covered in mud which has set like concrete :lol I guessing that as it does it both ways it is not anything that has broken as reverse would have the opposite effect. I suppose something could have bent but as it drove home fine my money is on it being a big lump of "concrete" stuck in the steering. Will clean off tomorrow and report back, fingers crossed.

Before we go digging too deep, check out all of the tyre pressures!!!!

I think I've got a slow puncture on my front passengers, when I checked for pressure I was on 13psi and even when steering slightly to the right it was rubbing the front bumper even though I've just re-indexed as well
