Roof Rails

Has anyone ever fitted roof rails to a standard LWB roof? are the mounts welded or bolted to the roof? is the roof shape the same?

what did you want them for, aesthetics or practicality?

If the latter, a set of Thule bars and roofbox are a better bet - and I know just the man....:augie LOL

PS: makeitfit lived up to his name once more and fitted a set; I think they fix to screw thread inserts of some kind.....he should be around later.....he loves threads like this LOL

The roof bars just look right, I had them on my Maverick and think the Terrano looks silly without them. I have thule bars thanks and dont fancy carrying them on the train next week :lol

Your right my terrano has none so going to get so from the brakers Found a set on se touring Just need to see how they come off then got to put them on mine Looks fun
