As you know I'm getting myself a new truck but the only thing is that it does not have any Roof Rails on it and I find them very useful.

So has anyone ever got some from a breakers to fit to their truck?

Could do with advice about getting them in the correct place and if anyone is breaking a LWB with a set please.

Could you not just take them off your old motor & use some bolts to blank off the holes in the roof:thumbs

Yeah I had thought about that and still may do but that depends whether I've got a buyer or not for the car. Long story and it would be nice for her to go to a nice new home.

Plenty shown on ebay in breakers but I still need a way of putting the holes in the correct location.

You could make up some templates off your old T2 & take measurements:thumbs

Yeah good idea. Ideally I thought about some wide masking tape to stick over the mounting points on donor vehicle and mark the holes and any landmarks on the bodywork.

You could also use card or cardboard even sheets of paper stuck together
