roof lining

Just remove the plastic side panels all round. Then you'll expose the lining . If you have a sunroof, you'll need to undo the trim round that too :thumbs

must admit miss his input.

Ive got guests this weekend and wont get chance do this for a bit.
but if it rains while im at work I will sit it out and start unscrewing bits

Why do you need to take it out ? If its for the light bar you'll only need to drop a corner for example :sly
For example, undo the sun visors and A pillar trims . Door liner and then you can persuade the front part of the head lining down enough to get cables through etc :thumbs

there may be some weldin goin on.
I have no need to put wires through the roof.they will run down the inside of the window gutter.

im saying if I use rivnuts it wouldn't take a lot to rip it off.
if a shape some plate insideit will be a lot tougher.
and I want to reinforce the roofrack bar mounts too:thumbs

Where the rails bolt to the roof there are x members so might be a bit awkward to get some stiffener plates in there.i used gutter less roof mounted bars when I had the big rack on my old truck.

wish I had took liner out before deciding where it looked nice on the roof.
might prove a bit awkward where the bolts fit.
oh well.Still love my biggest airfix kit that sits in my drive
