Another mod I've done while no one was looking
I've never found a snorkel I like on the T2 so decided to make my own, again :lol
I found a nice scoop on a pajero up that there scrap yard . Nice and simple screw on jobbie, well ish.
Cant find the original pics, ImgBB has hidden them :doh
Here's the sanded and etch primed one though
Got some rattle can paint to match the truck
This is going in the roof just behind the passenger seat.
I've carefully guessed where the bolts go and drilled the roof optomistically :lol and yes that's a bitof down pipe I had left over from house jobs :augie
As it turned out my holes were close enough so I bonded it down with tigerseal.
And now the cheesey bit I had the bits so I'm damn well using them
I'm routing the rain pipe down the B post, along the floor and then through the bulkhead, just where some gay types have air con pipes :lol
The little moon shaped bit now welded up
Elbow and more tigerseal. From here it'll be flexi to the modified air box.
Airbox blanked one end new pipe welded in the otherside.
The boy has a new welder by the way :naughty
Ebay air intake hose wire reinforced and some clips and the front end is done.
This bit was the most fiddly but got the angles marked, glued and done with plenty of limbo action :lol
Not my prettiest work but the pipe needed a little heat to form it round the seat base. I may have added a tad too much
but hey, I can't see it from my seat
The whole thing works a treat and produces a very satisfying roar on boost :naughty
Shmooth :thumb2
