Rocker Switch

What is the button to the right of the steering wheel (Opposite side to the door lock switch) on the dash for which looks like it may have something to do with the alarm (A car on it and some lines)

It switches off the ultra sonics in the car when you set the alarm - eg if you wished to leave a window open.
