does anyone know where i can buy some to fit a lwb terrano:nenau
not a problem getting some made but i just can't be bothered at the moment:lol
whould be easier to get some ready to fit.

What are rock sliders

A bit like side steps only they don't stick out and are designed to protect the cills from rocks etc. An add on is then to have small protruding bars along the length of them to protect from side impacts, these are known as tree sliders.

They are steps not rock bars though...
If its possible to fit it & weather it would look right or not

have got a set of shiney stainless side steps but they tend to stick out too much and sit lower down.
have just about finished fabricating a pair at work as we are not very busy again at the mo.
just got to trial fit them and if they look o.k i will get them powdercoated.

will see if i am happy with these first then i spose i could get a couple of sets made up.just used some offcuts of steel from work for these.

its a black hammerite powder finish that i was gonna do mine in.
all welded up just got to coat them.

Think I'd best make some or buy some of Elty's - just found a fairly large bend in my NS cill from the weekend - oops.

Elty what are you doing about following the shae of the cills where they taper downward at each end? Are you shaping em to fit or just having a straight bar/tube?
