Revised dashboard issues

Posted this a few days ago but closed the thread somehow.
l need help took the dash out and had a look at the circuits found what I thought was some dry joints put it all back together again and the speedo and rev counter are still doing their own thing. Can anyone help me. Also where are the sensors on the top of the gearbox as I can't see them, pictures would help. Thanks..

speedo and rev counter are controlled by a thick metal wire, not electrically to the gearbox.

Even on a 99 can't find the cable!
