reversing light

Hi guys

i need to fit a new reversing light to my wifes 96 mistral
anyone know where can i run wires from on the gearbox there seems to be 2 plugs in box with wires coming out.

the problem was originally that the light cluster on rear bumper rotted all the wires and i have had to sacrifice the reversing light to make all others work

maybe if i could get a couple of rear light clusters it would help but i have bought a bolt on reverse light

How far back have the wires gone on the original loom? Can you not just strip the insulation tape from the loom until you get back to good wires rather than going back to the reverse switch?
If not I'm sure someone on here will be able to identify the reverse light switch on the gear box, I'm assuming to is an auto box as well.

the rear light cluster wires are gone back to where the plug is that joins the main loom

i have no idea what colouir wires would be if i bared this back a bit

finding reverse switch may give me a clue
i must point that an electrician i am not lol

I would get another loom its only a short one it goes back to a plug just behind the n/s/r lamp in the bumper

thanks i will try and get one but just know that nissan will be expensive unless it is the same as maverick

I wouldn't get a new one they dont normally cause problems try www.partsgateway.co.uk to search for a second hand one or pm mav he is usually breaking one

got small wiring loom from Mav 5 mins later i had my reversing light working
