reversing light on maverick 2.7tdi 1996

does anyone know where the main feed for reverse light comes from.my light packed up so i kept tracing the feed back to the switch in the gearbox, the feed to the gearbox switch is reading dead on my voltmeter has anyone any idea where this wire goes to. theres nothing in my fusebox to show reversing light any help will be greatly appreciated.ta andeone.

Sorry can't help with where the wire goes...but if you were worried about non functioning reversing light being picked up for m.o.t. fail...dont worry cos reversing lights are a non testable item.

tool box is your man for this kind of thing he's real good pm him

failing that id look at running a new feed to the switch from somewhere else
only thing you need to know is it a live switch or earth switch
but someone will know the answer to that

thanks lads i,ll pm toolbox see what he,s got to say,i do like things to work as i nearly flattened some old dear while reversing out of car park "i did,nt see your light on" was the reply so i,m gonna get it working. ta andeone
