Reverse light help please

Hey guys, my reverse light is not working, I've chopped the bulb holder out and connected it toma 12v source and the bulb illuminates so it should be switch or wiring, I don't know which switchmis the reverse one, is it either of these in this pic? Thanks, Mark

I can't make it out in the picture, but it looks like the top one only has 2 wires, and the lower one has 3.. if that is the case, I would go with the top one.

Before you rush into reverse light switch. Did you chop wires near bulb holder. Theres two multi plugs in wiring loom. There’s one on the lamp unit and also a bit further down the wires before they enter the body at passenger side behind bumper.
Assuming you’ve checked fuse too.

Cheers Jim, I've booked it in for its MOT on saturday so I've been checking her over today, done a touch of welding, put rear bumper on properlyish :lol and discovered reverse lamp not working, and now fog light and when I took lights out a sidelight wire snapped right at the base of the holder, I have some spares though I think. Just need to sort it in next couple of days, MOT then a service and almost ready for wales :clap
