Hi guys I have a vibration at 65mph goes away at 75mph and I am sure its not the tyres or tracking so next thing I guess at is the prop uj's how hard is it to change them and is there anyone near to south east coast (camber sands area) who could lend a hand for some beer money?:thumbs

You are best off removing the front prop, it will at least prove positive that it is the culprit.
Then you can repair it at your lesisure, maybe take it to a local garage?

Right sounds like a plan, do i have to plug anything up when removing (ie am I not going lose any fluid)

Hi I am in Bexhill if you want to run it over sometime, but first, what year is it? if it has auto hubs it will not be the front prop, later than around 2000 and they had fixed hubs so could be, if so as Rayf says take it off and see, have a look art the rear prop, check for rust stains on the U/Js and sloppyness/play, Rick

Hi welcome.
What model is yours?
Does it have auto hubs, if so won't be front Prop shaft, unless you are using 4 wheel drive on Tarmac.:doh I hope not...

Solarman, ie Rick is close to you, around 45 minutes, so fairly close. He can do these UJ's in his sleep.

Well judging on how busy he is during the day ... he might have to lol...:lol

Rustic
Edit... I was typing this at same time as Rick....

mine is 2001 and I am pretty sure fixed hubs, I removed the chrome hub covers and there is nothing underneath so I assume they are fixed,

If you were able to help solarman I would be most grateful - I am hands on mechanically but still very much learning on the terrano lol

yes fixed hubs, just drop the front prop, 8 bolts, nothing to plug up, and see if it cures it, Rick
