Just wondering what sort of a job it is to replace the drivers side wing on a ford maverick swb? This is all new to me im a little unsure about tackling it.

Cheers Gav

Never done one, but believe they are bolt on, so should be fairly simple, just go around the wing and make sure all bolts and any wires are removed.
There may be a seam sealer or mastic used, so be aware the wing may be a bit stuck on in places.
Good luck :)

Brillant thanks chaps gives me a better insight of what to do.

Cheers Gav

Can you do me a favour then please. Take some photo's of where all the bolts are and post them on here please.

Cheers

I removed one from the scrap yard and it was fairly straight forward, jsut a few 10m nuts and it just pops off

It's so easy, Just remove all the bolts and yank it off.

hidden ones are 2 on inside the door area. also one thats behind the bumper.

Ryan's spare wings are in my shed! (Been there TOO long now!) I'm reluctant to do the job as I know there will be much more repairs needed when I remove the bumper!

Really need to get that welder sorted out and learn how to weld/not set fire to the car!
