Given that I'm going to be turning my Maverick into a commercial and that it's broken anyway and the repair paste did NOTHING, I want to remove the heater element from my rear screen.

I was thinking heat gun but not sure if that would work?

Once it's removed I'm going to fully black out the rear window

I have managed to source a set of window boards and all the flooring and headboard from James which I will be picking up tomorrow night :thumb2

The boards are from a Red Commercial Terrano so I need to get them down to the bodyshop to get my mate to spray them the same colour as my car, hopefully he has some paint left from when he sprayed my passengers side wing :thumb2

You could spray the inside and ignore the lines, or maybe try a window scraper blade, ie the stanley knife blade on a stick, then use a strong solvent, but seems a lot of work.

Manufacturers have worked hard to make sure it sticks to the glass no matter what temperature, and is fairly abrasive resistant.

Painting the outside of the glass could be an option if you had a glass etching primer or something.

Just my first thoughts, but never tried any of this...
