wonder if can give advise on removing pro fitted tints

took one off and its left some not exactly sticky but
left over glue.

tried some usually good sticky stuff remover got from betterware
but not doing much.

tried some nail varnish remover though was acetone free and
seemed to to be making a start, bought some regular remover
with acetone not tried it yet.

saw a site that said amonia, or steaming them off, any thoughts
or would a hair dryer's heat help or hinder.

not attacked near side yet as thought would see if can find
a method that will bring glue off with film.

Have you tried cellulose thinners? I've found that very good for shifting goo:eek:
If Acetone doesn't work stick it in your tank :thumbs

heating it with a hairdryer is a good way of getting the film to come off clean and leave little glue. Sounds harsh but the best thing i have found is petrol!

But test on a small area first :thumb2
