as title says really, am going to do a big lift on truck and will need to mod the transfer lever so can get into 4low, can it be removed easily?

Sorry to say, it's a bitch of a job, you can remove the leaver but even a struggled with a transfer box that wasn't even fitted! If yours wanting to extent the length it'll not work, as the leaver will still hit the floor or centre console.

that's not a nut and bolt, it is a nut and tapered cotter, like we used to have on push bike pedal cranks, undo the nut till it is flush with end and hit hard with hammer to drive it loose, then remove nut and remove the cotter, you should then be able to remove lever from shaft but may need a little leverage, Rick

I've got a transfer box extending bar that I don't need I'll sell if you need one.

dont need it thanks, i've been out having a nosey round and because of size of lift if i bend the bar so it will go into 4low, it will be bent to far forwards to go into 2 wheel drive as it will hit the center console :doh
