Recall information late '96 Maverick

Hi everyone, ive just been going through my old paperwork for my maverick (looking for my soon to expire MOT) and i came across a compliment slip from a Ford garage stating ' I certify the check/rework in the diesel engined maverick - safety recall has been completed on vehicle registration WF0.........blah blah.

Does anyone know what the recall/safety check was for? I found a link below for the aussie maverick but nowt for the UK.
