rear view camera

can anyone tell me if the cold weather affects rear view cameras, mines coming on but the picture is jumping and wont settle?? :doh

We have a wireless on on ours, have on probs with the cold, just pickup peeps TV when we drive past there houses..

thanks paul for your reply, my camera is the wired type, and it's a cheap version i think, i've just been out and it nows seems to work ok, time will tell, if it plays up i'll have a look in maplins for wireless type, thanks again, :thumbs

One thing to have a look at is the earth wire, we have a cheap one on the mr2, and the picture kept going crap, found it to be the earth on the control box.:thumb2

my camera picks up live from reverse lights and earth is on lights screw behind light unit, and cable runs to stero head unit, i cant remember a control unit to be honest, i'll have a look tomorrow. :thumb2


also this is not on my terrano it's fitted to my transit camper! :thumbs

My camera mists up in the cold, apart from that it works fine, maybe move it further under the bumper !,
