Rear side light cluster

Has anyone ever modified the rear side light clusters to work on a Y61 Patrol ? :?

Connect some lights to the existing lenses.

The only thing I can think of if there is'nt a hole for a bulb holder would be to go the same way as the thread on fitting tail lights into the stop light of a T2/Mav :roll:

Rear light cluster

I have wired the rear lights on my 2005 sve. MES insulated bulb holders from auto electrical supplies. Drill holes in the back of the light clusters and insert bulb holders, this is fiddlley as they need a little modifing to make them grip the hole. Then it is just a matter of hooking up the wires to the same lamps on the others side. Looks like blackpool illuminations when you hit the brake pedal!!
