Mine broke so I ordered another that's arriving today, I haven't had chance to have a look at what's left in truck yet, looking at pic on eBay it doesn't seem bonded in, does anyone know if they are, and any advice on doing the job like what tools I might need and sealants.

Thanks, Mark

I've done this job on the Maverick!!

Some pics in the thread linked below, I just went to a small car window fitter on an industrial estate in Warwick and he sorted me some OEM Alfa Romeo Window sealant and it went back in no bother.

Just make sure the glass is free of ALL of the old seal and make sure you get it off the body too when you re-apply. A heat gun works well in short blasts just watch your paintwork

If you source a Terrano in a breakers and he'll sell you the window and you can remove yourself, let me know and I'll send you my cheese-wire kit and handles up, there's something really soothing about using it to get the window out lol

I aim to please, not hitman, brought it through a friend who knew a woman that sold them, she had a haberdashery shop, weirder still I was desperate for one that night and I was stuck out on the road in the work van in traffic so on the way back she agreed to meet me on my route on an Asda car park.

Why do I have so many strange stories :(

Sounds like a nice woman, I could have done with someone like that on Sunday, and haberdashery is an awesome word :D
