Rear Panhard Rod

Help does anybody know anything about the rear panhard rod bushes in a Patrol as I can not seem to find any to fit mine and it is clonking like a good an, also I go on hols Thursday and need it fixed by then as been unable to off road it for a couple of weeks since this knocking started.

Long story short ordered a set from Nissan came to fit and one is ok but the one that locates in the chasis does not fit, Nissan there normal unhelpful self so have ordered a set from Milners however have just looked on the Milners web site and they look like the Nissan ones also looking on ebay they look like the Nissan ones, so now worry that on Monday the milners ones will not fit and I need to find out why and where to get some that will fit from.

Mine is a sve 2003 model just before the facelift in 2004 but I have great difeculty with parts for it they never seem to fit.

Any advice help most welcome.

If you ordered from Nissan and gave them the correct details, like VIN no, it should fit :nenau.
They must be able to supply you with the correct items, after all, they made the bloody truck.

The Nissan ones should have fitted fine did Nissan change the rear panhard rod on the face lift model at all ? just wondering if they did if there was a chance you have the later set up fitted to your truck

I gave Reg number which links to vine but they do not fit, need to see if miners fit but if not need to go back to Nissan , prob is I need fixed by Thursday and Nissan not very clever.

Get nissan to order both in, or at least get blow up diagram of both on screen and compare, as mentioned it is possible your vin falls within the facelift range. :thumb2

Gotta be worth a shot, the only other thing that springs to mind is perhaps someone modded it in the past? Failing that if it remains standard then you have very few options :thumb2

It looks standard and most aftermarket panhard rods I have seen are adjustable.
