Cut a long story short I was out in the car park at lunch and started to replace my instrument panel bulbs with blue LED ones however I didn't realise that they were polarity sensitive, I've put one in backwards, there was a small puff of smoke and then I had to tail lights or headlights, I checked all the fuses and turns out fuse 7 or 8 I can't remember was blown, it was a 10amp

I've replaced this and now the headlights are working and the instrument panel is now lighting up and I'm getting the bleeper when the door is open as well however, I don't seem to have any tail lights :s

Just to confirm when the engine is running and the headlights are switched on, what lights should be illuminated at the rear, isn't it just the bottom 2 on the rear side clusters?

Cheers guys

When I turn my lights on only the bottom set light up, the higher ones are my brake lights

Cheers for the reply mate :), the Maverick/Terrano section has been so quiet today :S

Figured it out in the end, I'd managed to melt a wire and blow 4 fuses but all fixed now
