rear light comparison

well, my lights came today, they are from a 2004 and are going on my 1993, heres a comparison of the lenses:thumb2

as you can see, they wrap around the rear, and aernt flat with the body

How about doing a sidelight mod on them before you fit them? A nice LED bulb in there will look good.

yeah i'll take a pic when i fit them, waiting to get my truck back from a mates, dunno about a side light mod, don't want to ruin them will be washing them in the the bath later, get them looking as good as new

theyve been washed and look brill, no scratched, just the plastic has gone white around the sides so will need peanut butter or something, any ideas?

WD 40 will send them back to black, or what ever colour they were to start with.

I've heard that if you put plastic lights in the dishwasher, they come out looking like new
I used a back to black type liquid to get the surrounds on both of my terry's looking nice
It's called Autobright restore 2 black and works a treat :thumb2

I don't have a dishwasher lol, I washed them in the bath when mum and dad were out:augie, used fairy liquid mixed with some random bubble bath that I never knew we still had:augie and they shine now not even scratched just needed a good shake under water as there was dead spiders and bizarrely mud stuck in them, will try and find a restorer for the grey
