rear drop links

OR just leave the ARB in place but undo one end for off roading, then replace to go home. One nut n bolt takes all of a minute:thumbs
 
i'm no sure weither 2 take it off or not, still in 2 minds, so keepinmg options open atm.

really how is it with the anti roll bar off? cos i really no sure but it at all :confused:
 
if you do take the rear arb off make sure your rear wheel offset is good/or spacers and you grind down the protruding seatbelt bolts or you will cut the inside of your tyres.
 
It's not awful with the rear ARB off but you will get some more roll. Plus you need to advise your insurance company of the modification AND run the risk of a smart arse MOT tester giving you a fail for not having it :eek:
I suggest for what I suspect is your greenlane activities, is to leave it in place till you get to the laneing session. Then simply undo one of the drop link's nut and bolt. This effectively dissarms the ARB's efect on the axle. It doesn't catch or rattle etc. Then when you've done, just bolt it up again and take your 2.4 children home safely :thumbs Simples :D

the boolt has already been cut down 2 size so thats not a problem, n tbh had the car tipped up 2 one side 2 check what may or may not need done n it doesn't go anywhere near the top of the rear arches.

i don't do grren laning cos theres none up here i go 2 pay n play's n the ones i go to r pretty severe in places
 
Ah ok then undo it and then you'll see how far the axle will move. That's when your tyres can catch the inner tub. You'll get much more articulation with it off and even more with +2" rear shocks :sly

I know what you mean, it's more likely to be caused by the geometry of the rear suspension, ie the panhard bar, or what ever it's called, since it is fixed on one side.
 
It's only offcentered due to the suspension lift. Ideally the panhard rod should be lengthened accordingly :D
