Rear Demister Fault

Rear demist has stopped working.

Getting current to the switch, switch seems to work but not getting anything to the rear window.

Any suggestions?

Oh I've swapped the relay as well (It think)

Is there any kind of connector between main wiring loom and the tailgate?
also check both terminals are on the rear window, whilst your checking them you can trace how far 12v supply is going?

Hi, have you tried the fuse? This should be after the switch, ie supply to the relay.

Look in the rubber boot between the tailgate and the body, it is very common for wires to break inside the boot. If i had a pound for every electric window/central locking fault caused by that problem reckon i'd have a new Patrol! :smile:
