Hi I am a new Terrano II owner and need a rear bumper light. The Nissan garage has quoted £95.12 Does anyone have a better solution. e.g secondhand. Do Maverick or older Terrano rear lights fit in the bumper?

what year is yours?

what side.

Pm me with you postcode or town to get added to the Members map. then you can see who your closest member is

It is on an 03 plate but the insurance database said 99-02. When were the changes?
I need the off side bumper light.

you want me to add you to the map?

need a Pm for that.

im sure youll get a better anser, but i think the early ones will fit

early ones fit but not as nice....

we can either keep look out or you need to ask one of the breakers on ebay
but they are popular

i got some old type ones you can have for a tenner + post

So let me just clarify this, its on an 03 plate but showing up as a Feb 99 model? That sounds a bit extreme to me? Or did you mean 09-02? is it the round headlight model or later square headlight with the larger grille etc..?Either way, the bumper lights are the same size since around 97-onwards, just slightly different pattern, so if you reverted to the older one you'd want a pair.

Easy way to guesstimate time of manufacture would be to take off some of the plastics and you should find a month/year marking on the back which will be not that long before it rolled off the line...might even try the bottom of the ashtray, I can't quite remember....

LMAO! wELL GET SOMETHING DONE THEN!

Yes the plastics are nearly always marked with the date of manufacture which, because of the motor companies 'just in time' philosophy, will be very close to the actual date they went into the vehicle. Usually two little 'clocks' moulded in, one for the year and one for the month.

ah, ive seen them. just didnt know what they ment.

i cant now as its lunch time

The vehicle is registered April 2003 but it may be a late 2002 model. The 99-02 was refering to 1999-2002 which the insurance database listed it as which confused me. However looking at the spec I think it must have been manufactured at least later than August 2002.
Anyway if the early rear lights fit, that's great. I will come back to extreme-4x4 if I can't find any locally. Thank you all.

even that database is a bit misleading..i have a W-plate (2000) pre-facelift T2 made in 99 (round headlight version)
