Spent Weekend changing my rear brake shoes. Both drumd came off no problem but noticed that the rear brake auto adjuster was missing from the D/S.
How do these work and any idea where I can get on from. Also does anyone have or can tell me where I can get a diagram of rear brakes?

Goto your local Nissan / Ford dealership

Or

Goto your local Motor Factors

& ask for a REAR DRUM SPRING KIT :thumbs

Sure there around the £30 mark & that has everything you need :thumbs

Went into local factors they can only get the kit direct from ford £75 each.

more bad news
Factors phoned to say that the adjusters do not come with springs so you have to buy the spring kit for £37. So over £100 per side. Only need the spring to hold the auto adjuster onto the shoes. I am going to try Miners as Trevor use to race 4x4 and is a good friend of a friend. Will see what they can do.

rear brake adjuster

hi apenn.do'nt worry about the adjusters they seem to be more of a problem than usefull.discard both and adjust brakes with a screwdriver [on the adjusters untill snug when refitting hubs],i have just done the same on my maverick after 3 go'es at trying with adjusters'they seem'd to work in reverse,so left them off no more trouble
