rear brake back plates

mine are getting past there best and as im buying all new
calipers shoes adjusters new hoses all round basically a total brake re fit

i just wondered how easy it is to replace the back plates


thanks in advance



ps if anyone has some nice back plates or know how to get some please advise

i know pete mentioned disc conversion for the back. but is the patrol disc brakes on the rear and will the fit if the do
 
I've never done one but this is what one looks like for any one else.

Looking at mine you will probably need to remove each rear drive shaft as this is bigger than the hole in the plate. There are quite a few threads on this on replacing rear wheel bearings. While you are at it you may want to look at the rear bearings and seals.
