So has anyone changed one from a year 2000 truck to a year 2002 truck. (Chocolate type one the 2002)And was there any issues doing so.Cheers.

I know MadMark want's to do this soon he's just after an axle :thumb2

The ratios are the same as I remember checking before swapping my front diff from a 2004 to a 1999

Should be pretty easy to swap over, the only fiddly bit potentially is the handbrake :nenau and the sheer weight of it all, i'd def recommend a friend :thumb2

I have to admit that although these new diffs have bad press mine gets a hell of a lot of grief and has been solid as a rock so far and I've yet to hear or read that anyone has ever had one fail :nenau

Yeah I wanna do this as my led is loosing its limited side of things and heard earlier are stronger. But in fairness mines held up well with the abuse
