Hi y'all.
My NATS key fob has seen some hard times. As a result the "red" button has disintegrated. The only way I can arm and disarm the system is by hold a piece of tin foil accross the contacts.
Simple I thought. As the guts of the fob come out/are removable - just go down to the dealers and get a new casing. But you can't get the case on its own. You have to buy two new units (£85). And the master key has to be available to programme them. I don't have the master key.
So I'm stuck with the silver paper solution. OK till I come out of the pub and can't find any silver paper and therefore can't get into the car. Embarrasing or what. Or I can leave the alarm off - not a good idea where I live.
Any ideas. Has anyboby got an old key fob they don't want.
