I also have digital radio gear for all of my Trucks truggies etc.I believe my mate has something similar to your TX.He flys helicopters.
 
My mate wants be to buy one.I have used a flight sim.And my mate reckons i did a good job.But all that money hurling to the ground,or whirling to the ground.
Not for me,But i can see the pleasure that can be had from it.
 
used to have a hpi savage truck, what a money pit. Good fun but always broke when using it.

Also had a plane, was a starter and flew like crap. Ditched that into a riverbed from about 200meteres. Got a better beginner one with larger wings so should be easier to fly but never taken it out, want to make it into a FPV plane.

Yea my son had one and it was the same,aload of crap they were.
I would never touch hpi again.
 
best starter chopper by far is the blade mcx2.
ive smacked it about the walls more times than enough. the main frame needs replacing now though. will have to dig deep £2.75 lol.
don't use century uk stuff ive wasted a lot with them.
im ready to go up a notch blade msr next.
taking my time going through the proper training before I try to fly my acrobatic 250 class chopper. last time I picked that up I lost control and the rotors took my eyebrow off and my forehead is permanently numb:lol
