Is there a simple way of finding what it is?

look in old paper work if you have any,

ot ring call in to the gargare the car was FRIST sold at.

thats how i did it with my 806, so im thin will be the same for s nissan

In theory every Nissan dealer should be able to put in a UK spec nissan Chassis number and give you a print out with this on. However they may charge as they are doing work for you and will probably require proof of ownership and ID.

If its a Clarion head unit and you can get the 14 or 7 digit serial number off of it I may be able to help. May need the model number as well
