Radio cassette controls

Does anyone know how to adjust bass/treble/fader/balance etc on the radio when you cannot read the display? (because all the LCD displays are now toast arn't they...)
I'm hoping someone memorized how to do it before their display packed in.

I want more bass - its all a bit tinny.
