In a moment of stupidity I managed to scuff the nearside rear corner of my bumper and wheel arch extension moulding on the Terrano R3mR. (N reg)
Basically its just rubbed the paint off so it looks a mess but thankfully no damage to the plastic/grp surface. The RHS rear bumper corner is a bit wobbly so I assume I have broken a clip off of some sort.
The workshop manual does not show the fastenings has anyone taken a bumper corner off on one of these?
The bumper corners have a deep chrome trim on them that is held on somehow so I am planning to remove the trim inserts and either paint them or have them re-chromed and at the same time re-fasten the bumper corner to return it to its former study state.
No doubt 16 year old bolts will probably not want to come undone or will round off when applying some pressure and it might just grow into a job not worth the hassle.
I do not want to take the whole rear bumper cover off unless its absolutely necessary any tips anyone?
