Hi they are deffo different to a terrano 2 that im breaking, mine has torsion bars and single shick.

Good look.:thumb2

put them on photobucket then we can view the whole album

or do several posts

have you cleaned them and looked for part numbers and maker

my t2 dont run on t2 dampers so you likelu to find something in the breakers. not adjustable though but they will still pass mot

R3M - now I see. Yes they are struts rather than shock absorbers, you're probably going to need to import something from the states or japan, unless you can get something off a newer Pathfinder to fit, they may be the same.

Yup or these

Not done the currency thing to work out which is cheaper.

Bluebull has ha a few dealings with AC though and they seem to be ok.

Might even be worth asking at a main dealer????

Sorry mate every R3M I've seen has been on a twin wishbone front end like the T2 even ones that bear no resemblence to Terrano 1.
Hang on to the shocks for now and we'll see what we can do to get across to me.

currancy about the same on price

delivery from usa is well expensive though
and the poor buggers cycling to work.... thats got to hurt

Cherokee fronts look similar might be worth a look in the breakers

the chassis number is PR50 so kind of makes sence.

Does any one knoe if I can go up on these or if I have to ride the Hereford floods on a standard R3M?

I am thinking with all the ball ache I have had if it's all worth it and return to the belovid Skyline where I had no problems as long as it didn't rain and I parked it at the bottom of the lane (1/4 mile away from my house) as I now have white smoke blowing out the exhaust when I rev hard. This does turn diesel black after 3 or 4 blasts.

I really did buy a dog of a truck

Good on you - I'd not seen them at Milners, must be a new line.

Does any one knoe if I can go up on these or if I have to ride the Hereford floods on a standard R3M?

Do you mean a lift? you shoud be able to with a top mount spacer, depends on the turret top shape though. Also what rear end has it got before we try any further?

Thanks for that but £75 each side, ouch.

jesus, why do I keep buying jap imports?

I was concidering buying my 9 year old a R3M to drive round the fields and just pilfering the parts off that when I needed them but I cant afford it

from what I have seen the rear end is the same as a T2, a spring on a base with the shock seperate at the side ish

If only my dad's 4.2 Patrol was long wheel base, I would have had that instead of my sister then all these questions would have been so different lol

have a look in the breakers then im sure ive seen lots similar

or try breaker link or google import breakers

but to be honest 75.00 aint that bad as its new and in the uk
a breaker will want 40 + i recon

import see

you got a pic of your truck so i can see it
