Power Steering

Hi Guys,

Going round a roundabout this morning and my power steering just packed in- like driving a tank!! Got it home OK but have no idea what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated. 1998 2.4iGLS Ford Maverick. Is this going to be an expensive repair?

yep belt. or split hose


if you still got fluid then its just the belt

If it is the belt - and its the most obvious candidate - swap them all while you're at it....
