Ok,since coming back from Peas Farm,i have Been loosing Power Steering fluid, had a good look today and everything is dry in the engine bay.
Had a look at the driver side wheel arch and there the leak is!,it is where the Pitman arm joins onto the Steering Gear Assembly.
Drips quit a bit when the steering is turned!
Will it stop if i tighten the nut on the bottom??
I'm asking because i ain't got a big enough adjustable spanner at the minute to do it!!

Hi Cosmic  fancy breaking your toys    I don't know if tightening it up will stop the leak  but i'm sure someone will know  Do you know what size the nut is, it's just that I may have a socket that'll fit it  but it'll be the weekend if not next week before I can get up to yours unless your going to your bro-inlaws before hand then your more than welcome to call in & i'll give you a hand

Just been out & had a look at mine & the nut is I think 42mm  I don't have a socket that size :( but I think my Grandad has so will check in case you need it

I'll hopefully be making up something that can go into the downloads section but it isn't an easy job!! :?

Only just read this Cosmic, sounds like you had some fun and games.

You did the correct thing by replacing the whole unit, there are often exchange (reconditioned) units available as they are a bit specialised to repair.

Well done -groovy-
