Strange thing happend last week. (Before the Oil changes) i called at some ones house and his drive was STEEP, im not kidding. As i got to the drive way from the road my bonnet covered the roof of his house then it was down hill from there, so to speak.
Anyway as i was leaving i had to go up the drive to the road again........The truck would not go up it, each time i tried it got half way and died! i ended up in 4 wheel drive low ratio to get out, now this guy has a caravan that his BMW pulls up the drive to the road.
During the oil change we found that the Turbo waste gate had stuck and needed to be freed up, but i still dont think im getting full power, id ask him if i could try to beat his drive to see if it will do it this time, but im still red faced over the first time still.

HELP.

PS should of said his driver was about 200 yards long and dropped about the height of his house as it can not be seen from the road.

I had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago and think it was because I did not give it enough accelerator on the pull off.

Did you give it some welly?

i have simmilar issues below 12/1300 rpm on hill starts (sometimes but mainly on supermarket diesel)

i got mine on vpower diesel and its like a different car

Arrrrrrr, Just had a tought.........(I get them every now and again)

Last week i add a fuel treatment, 1 bottle does 80lts of diesel. i only had about 40lts in the tank, but thats not all, i added two bottels to treat 160lts (I wanted to make sure it worked) :doh

So id got 40lts of diesel with enough fuel treatment in the tank to treat 160lts.

I may have solved my own question here!

Iv just put another 30lts in the tank as it was low, i will see how it gets on.

I standby the forth amendment, i have the right to be an Idiot!
