Hi anyone else come across this one driving along nice and steady power loss and white smoke billowing out the exhaust, it completly cut out three times so pull up and call the nice man the very very nice man. One hour later he turns up so start up sounds perfect so looking a pratt I says to him I will give it a run up the road and the come back 100yds and it is like D-day smoke every where nearly did not make it back to him so up goes the bonnet start her up he says so I did and he says ok I know what it is, he says turn her off and come round here so I do he says right I will start her up you watch the top of the fuel fillter so he starts her up the priming pump slams shut he says its your fuel fillter and so he does a quick bodge two pipes of join them with a connecter so he says give her a go now. Now I changed the fillter less than 4,000 miles ago so I get home take it off and open the square box bit at the top which I belive is the fuel heater it is completly full of crap dirt and even leaves clean it out put it all back together runs as sweet as a nut.
