I thought my head gasket had gone symptoms being smoky running a bit lumpy and a loss of a little water so I have put some of the head gasket cure stuff in and just been letting it tick over and notice now bloody oil is coming out of tge exhaust so any ideas please

Could be head gasket, there is an oil way up to the rockers, looks like it my have gone there, or could be a cracked block:eek: but most likely gasket, or of course turbo, Rick

Based on my experiences start with a good look at the turbo...

Took me an age to sort out mine, as it kept pointing to a cylinder head, and I faffed around, but in the end, logic prevailed and I changed the turbo... so much better.

Take the pipe off the front of the turbo, and see if there is any oil in there, chances are, if there is, it is leaking past the bearings, and going both into the air intake, and directly into the exhaust.

Your a star after reading what you put I checked the turbo and its fecked so managed to take it off and it's going for refurb this week so cheers for that one mate saved hell of a lot of work

Saved you tenner there too

your exhaust will possibly need taking off and cleaning with petrol or other substance, as when i had a turbot go on me the oil in the exhaust kept belching white smoke as the engine got warmer, i tried many hundreds of miles hoping it would clear, it didnt!
