playing with ERG valve

Ok so I've been trying this http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/downloads/workshop/wk3.pdf with my EGR valve on the td27 and I can't tell if there's much of a difference I think it's revving better and the idle speed has slightly improved but in not too sure if there's much more to come from the engine:nenau

Ohh and smells abut more smoky

This will not help if the EGR valve is not sealing, which is the main fault, to cure this you need to remove the valve and insert a thin blanking plate, this stops it dead, Rick

Cheers, it's bit better but not as good as it could be. I'll try that

hi. all the very best for the new year everyone. i found i got a fair increase in power by replaceing the air filter with a k and n type air filter. [you may have already done this].
