For those of you that knew Plank, I've just started his 2nd book, didn't want to rush straight into it as I wanted to keep this one as long as I could hold out, but finally gave in a few days ago.

A brilliant read, I can fully relate growing up around some of the areas he's written about and being from a bit of a ruffian background myself, really great reading :D

Frankie Fullwood - The Gypsy Way Part II - Thinking about Breathing

Look at this for tasters :lol :thumbs RIP Plank

A valued and very well respected member of the club who so sadly passed away, there are members on here who still miss him and his contribution to the club. A very decent family guy.

The club raised a considerable collection for his funeral flowers which Briggie and myself
attended.

A great man and friend who is missed by several of us old members

Oh didn't know that, I just googled it. No other information to go on from the first post. No offence intended..

Don't worry Daemo I'm sure none of us took offence really, newer members wouldn't know about Chris:thumb2

Goes to show how close we all get as friends on this forum and what a great place it really is.

I have both his books, good read & great guy.

Was speaking to him that fateful night about his intended journeys for the year, cups of tea & talks to have.

Miss him, he was supposed to be writing a 3rd, "Jenny" was supposed to be finishing it. Would love to read it.

there are two more already written, just need editing and printing.

the fifth book was one I'd helped with ideas as more transport/haulage related,
we spoken about trucks around in late 80s into early 90s and escapades our hero
could get into and out of.

not sure how the written by Jenny would work other than being another pen name
character. Some of Jenny was based on his wife. A twitter account for Jenny still
sometimes tells me how many followers she/he has.

Was looking through my facebook friends list, I still have Chris, Chris'n'Kerry and
Frankie Fullwood listed, all say are obsolete accounts or words to that affect but
I really struggle with idea of de-friending them as have so little left other than
great memories of him, feels round to do so.

I noticed that the the forum couldn't show me all his posts (or mine or anyone
else's) over a certain age

"jenny" I was referring to his wife, was something he said to me during a conversation

Jenny was Frankie's wife, where as Kerry is the widow of Chris.

Think it was starting to blur for him too.

At one point Sandy was on facebook too and for a while I thought
see might be real....

There were threads when all 3 were in conversation!

I know, just didn't want to blurt out the connection between the 2, didn't know if it was appropriate or not.
