Removal On a T2.any advice other than.Plenty of lube, extension, bar, with a scaff bar extractor tool, and loads of grunt.:)

Well I never.... not heard of one of them before.... I wonder why it is called that?

Anyway, I guess a puller would be the safest way, but I must admit I have not even seen my steering box yet.

I took one off fourtrak once used ball joint splitter and big hammer i remember it being very tight. My question is why are you removing it?

Hi guys, just to clarify,i am not taking mine off.It was a question asked of me recently.By a guy a few streets away from me,(I did mention this forum)It was just one of those things that got me wondering is all.
Anyway i had a look under my truck this morning. The nut size is 40 mill. With a locking washer. For reference..

OK understood, this I think is US terminology creping in, in the UK it is a DROP ARM, and yes they get tight, ten ton puller jobbies and maybe heat as well, Rick
